Kinta’s glass collection is produced in a workshop in Thailand and made from lead-free crystal glass. Real glass colors are used for the colored glass.
The products are mouth blown and handmade. Making the glass products requires a lot of strength, time and warmth. The production is carried out by a team of skilled craftsmen, who together go through twelve production stages. 1500 °C heat and fifteen hours are needed to lead the glass through all stages of production, from raw materials to final products. The elegant design and the wavy pattern are created by using a mold. Real handicraft, which makes the Amnis glass collection unique and the thickness can vary slightly.
Kinta’s glass partner has a workshop near Bangkok. Craftsmanship is central to this family business, where the third generation is working for a viable future. The best craftmanship is ensured by technical expertise in material and production techniques, accumulated through more than 40 years of operation. Employees enjoy working here and are often employed for a long time, sometimes even more than 25 years. Social compliance is self-evident.
Our glass collection is of course food safe and due to the real glass colors also dishwasher safe. The Amnis collection has a wavy pattern, which gives both the carafe and the stackable tumblers a good grip.
The Amnis glass collection is designed by Kinta and consists of two different sizes tumblers (250 and 300 ml) and a carafe (900 ml). Soft lines and a small foot makes the two sizes of tumblers elegant, for serving water in style, together with the matching carafe. The wavy design is inspired by the rippled pattern you see in water and sand shaped by the wind. The lead-free crystal glass collection is available in 4 colors: green, smoked grey, bronze and clear glass.
